EDF RESILIENCE – Biomarkers of infection
Development of new biomarkers for early detection and characterisation of infections caused by high-threat pathogens, combining experimental infection models with multi-omics approaches.

Combat-related infections in Ukraine
Investigation of bacterial infections and antimicrobial resistance in war-related wounds, with a focus on the emergence, persistence and spread of multidrug-resistant pathogens.

Bacterial adaptation in chronic wounds
Using longitudinal clinical isolates and patient material to investigate how bacteria adapt and diversify during chronic wound infection, and how these changes influence persistence and treatment response.
